Ok a quick one, do you know every time you apply your face mask, facial cream, anti-ageing cream, you are applying a snail slime? Yuck!! Some people may say but very true. Snail slime is a kind of mucus an external body protected by snail. It aids their crawling and help prevent the disiccation of exposed tissue. Snail slime is jellylike in nature and contain 98% weight of water combine with a small amount of high molecules weight glycoproteins, calcium, pigment, and lipids. In time past it is used medicinally against gastrointestinal ulcer and in form of syrup for cough but now China use it for cosmetic because of high protein and it helps minimize the damage cause by the free radicals that are responsible for premature skin aging. So when you eat snail, think of the other value chain.. The one you and I can't do without " our cosmetics"
